SMITH – MACINTYRE – On October 22, 1971 at St. Columba’s Cathedral, Oban, by Rev. Fr. Colin MacInnes, James Hendrie to Susan Campbell. Present address: Alltavona, Spean Bridge.

CLARK – Aileen and David would like to thank family, friends and neighbours for cards, flowers and phone calls, also the ambulance crew and fire service for their assistance on the sudden passing of Davey. Hamish Hoey & Son undertakers, especially Catriona for arranging the funeral, Rev. Willem and all who attended at the graveside burial and special thanks to our neighbour Kate who delivered the eulogy, Petals for flowers and Soroba House for funeral reception.

MACEWAN – James, Fiona, Malcolm and family, would like to thank everyone for all their kind wishes and thoughts over the last few weeks on the passing of their beloved mum Joan. Grateful thanks to Ian and Shiralene at D&A Munn for all their kindness and support also to Rev. Dugald Cameron for the lovely service, special thanks to all staff at North Argyll House for such loving care of our mum, it was truly appreciated.

MACLEAN – (Onich). Donna, Walter, James, Iain and Jane wish to express their sincere gratitude to family, friends and neighbours for the outstanding support given to them in the sad and sudden passing of dear Jessie. The cards, telephone calls, visits, flowers etc. showed the great respect held for Jessie by so many people near and far. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Ward 5a Raigmore Hospital for their care of Jessie during her final days. Thanks to John MacLellan, Undertakers for their caring and compassionate handling of the arrangements, Rev. Malcolm Kinnear for his visits and comforting service, John Cameron for the carefully chosen music, Griogair Lawrie for singing his final gaelic song for Jessie, the Onich Hotel for the lovely teas and finally to all who attended the church and graveside.

MACLENNAN – JaneMarie, Ruari and the family of the late Roderick (Roddy) Maclennan would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy, cards, flowers, visits, phone calls and messages received following their recent sad loss. Thanks to all the consultants, doctors, nurses in the Haematology/Oncology wards at the Beatson, with special mention to Donna Kelly and Christine Maclennan for going above and beyond with care and support. Wards 5A, 5B and 7D at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glasgow. To all the staff at Tiree Surgery, with special mention to Dr Mike McIver, Alison, Mairi and Cat, also to Tiree Ambulance service. Sincere and heartfelt thanks to Sandy MacIntosh for his comforting service, to Alistair MacInnes and Donald Meek for their fitting tributes to Dad. To Lachie Macfadyen for the prayer. Ross Maclennan and MairiAnn Tuach for readings and Joyce MacInnes for musical arrangement. Special thanks to Neil Munn and Andy Wright at the Co-operative for their professional service. To Lynette at Petals for the beautiful floral tributes and to Fiona and staff at the Lodge Hotel for the lovely purvey. Special thanks to the crew of the MV Clansman for sounding their horn going through the Gunna Sound. Finally our heartfelt thanks to all who attended the house and graveside.

DOYLE – née Power. Cherished memories of Avril, a loving and much loved wife of Colin, mum of Gavin, sister to Marian, Diane and Eileen and daughter to Minnie. Also remembering her dad, Heckie, his brothers John and Jimmy and their parents Dan and Mary and cousin Marie, all at rest at Glen Nevis cemetery.

MACLEAN – In loving memory of my cousin Donald MacLean, who died at his home, Roadside, Kenovay, Tiree on October 17, 2020.

WOOD – In loving memory of my husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather John Wood, who passed away October 18, 2010.
