Lochaber Young at Heart Walking Group is on the lookout for new members to join its trips across the area.

Launched in 1994, it has been successful over the years in organising interesting,  informative walks.

The club welcomes everyone aged 50 years to join and enjoy the many benefits of being part of a walking group.

Research has proven that being part of a group meeting outside for physical
activity has a positive effect on physical and mental wellbeing.

Meeting people, making new friends, discovering new walks and socialising are just a few of the positive aspects of being part of the club.

The weekly walks are within Lochaber and last for approximately two hours, although there is also a shorter walk.

During the summer, there is also a longer all day walk, once a month ,when club members travel further afield.

A hired bus leaves the car park near the Moorings Hotel, Banavie, at 10am on
Wednesday mornings and costs £7.

If you are interested and would like more information please telephone
