At 9.20pm on October 9 at an address in Craigard Road, Oban, a man was allegedly acting in a threatening or abusive manner. The 38-year-old was charged and will appear at Oban Sheriff Court.


Between 8.40am and 6.30pm on October 5 within Tesco car park, Oban an unattended parked car struck and damaged. Police are appealing for witnesses.


About 11pm on October 1 a mobile phone was stolen from the male toilets of an Oban pub.


Between 9.30am and 4.30pm on October 2 at Mull Terrace, Oban a parked car was vandalised. Police are appealing for witnesses.

Recorded Police Warning

About 2am on October 3 at George Street, Oban, police saw a 23-year-old man acting in a threatening manner towards another member of the public. He was arrested and given a Recorded Police Warning.

Failed to stop

At 11.50 am on October 5 on the A828 near to Portnacroish, Appin, a white Ford motorhome collided with a coach. The motorhome failed to stop and provide relevant details. Police are appealing for witnesses.


Between noon on October 2 and 7pm on October 4 at Lochdon, Isle of Mull, two gates were stolen from fields. Enquiries continue.


Between 5pm on October 4 and 5pm on October 6 at an address in Camus Road, Dunbeg, wheel nut covers were allegedly stolen from a vehicle. If anyone has information they should contact the police.
