Iconic sites in Lochaber and Skye feature in a new Gaelic/English video produced by The Highland Council’s Gaelic Team in support of the Inverness 2021 Royal National Mòd which is currently taking place in Inverness.
An Comunn Gàidhealach has developed a blended approach to the Mòd as events are taking place both virtually and face to face.
This year’s Mòd has provided an opportunity, says the local authority, to highlight not only the event, but Inverness and the wider Highland area.
Councillor Calum Munro, chairperson of the council’s Gaelic Committee, commented: ‘I’m delighted that the Council has developed this short video which highlights what the Highlands has to offer regarding Gaelic and its associated culture, employment opportunities and the environment.’
