Isle of Eigg Heritage Trust has announced it is selling Sandamhor Bothy plus an adjoining quarter of an acre of land and is asking for offers over £65,000.
The trust says it is looking for a purchaser who wants to live on the island full time and who will be an ‘active contributing member’ of the community.
The single-room stone building was formally a shepherd’s dwelling and holiday accommodation, but now requires extensive renovation and improvements.
The plot enjoys easterly views across the sea towards the mainland and access is via a shared unsurfaced and rough access track. Closing date for offers is November 1.
