Gareth Evans and Duncan MacMillan of Oban Camanachd shinty club present a £120 cheque to Peter Darling, manager of the town’s Dove Centre.

Oban Camanachd’s A team, comprised of four players, came second at Oban Rotary’s recent Golf Am-Am at Glencruitten, winning the PDK Shellfish Trophy plus £120 in vouchers.

As with previous successes at the Rotary’s Am-Am, the Camanachd players elected for their prize to be converted into cash for Oban’s Hospice Movement which is based at The Dove Centre in Stevenson Street.

Also pictured are Rotarians Ciorsti Baxter and past president of Oban Rotary Iain MacIntyre.
