Lochaber Housing Association has announced the appointment of Margaret Moynihan as its new chief executive.
Ms Moynihan has been serving as acting interim CEO over recent months following the
retirement of former chief executive, Blair Allan.
Making the announcement, Andrew Carr, chairman of Lochaber Housing
Association, said: ‘We are delighted to confirm Margaret as our next chief
‘She very much stood out from within a really strong field of applicants and I am confident that she will continue to further develop our high performing organisation, helping us to better meet the ambitions we have for the communities we work within, and for the people who live there.
‘The board is very much looking forward to continuing its productive and successful
working partnership with Margaret for many years to come.’
Ms Moynihan said she was delighted to have been confirmed as the organisation’s new chief executive.
‘It is a great privilege to be chosen to lead our well governed and respected organisation and to continue to build on the growth achieved under Blair’s leadership, she said.
‘As we emerge from the worst of the Covid pandemic, I look forward to building on our impressive strengths with our board and staff.
‘My primary focus will be ensuring LHA thrives as we move in to the future by delivering good quality affordable homes supported by excellent services within our communities of Lochaber.’
