About 5pm on Monday August 27, on Connel Village Loop Road, Connel, police were called to a male that members of the public had concerns for. The 36-year-old man was allegedly found to be in possession of six snap bags of cocaine. He was charged with the offence and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 5pm on Monday September 6, on High Street, Oban, a woman was allegedly assaulted by a male. Subsequently a man, 23, was charged with assault and abusive behaviour towards the arresting officers. He was held in custody to attend court. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 11am on Friday August 27, at Argyll Square, Oban, a male allegedly stole some Vapes from an Oban shop. The 15-year-old was detained by a member of the public. He was charged with the offence and will be referred for Youth Intervention processes.
About 11.30pm on Saturday August 28, on George Street, Oban, a male was allegedly assaulted by another male. Subsequently a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with the offence and released on undertaking to appear in court. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 4.30pm on Saturday September 4, on Sinclair Drive, Oban, Police were called to a male acting aggressively towards a man and woman. The man had left prior to police arrival, but is identified and will subsequently be charged with the matter and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 11pm on Friday September 3, on Shore Street, Oban, a report was made of a man assaulting a group of people. Police attended and five people alleged the 39-year-old had punched them. He was arrested and charged with the assaults. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
