Scottish Minister for Transport Graeme Dey MSP visited the Oban base of the Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) last Tuesday, August 24.

In addition to a briefing on the work of the board to protect lives, property and the environment through the provision of maritime aids to navigation, the Minister toured the depot and met some of the NLB team. The Minister also toured the NLB’s vessel Pharos and met members of the crew.

Mr Dey also visited to Oban Airport and met with Argyll and Bute Council officers.
