Lochaber Probus Club has moved to a new location, with meetings now being held at the Lochaber Rural Complex Education Centre.

Members meet for tea and coffee – with the important home-made shortbread – followed by a guest speaker then lunch of soup and sandwiches.

Probus Clubs are associations of retired and semi-retired professional and business people which provide opportunities for members to meet others in similar circumstances, make new friends and maintain and expand their interests.

It is not a fund-raising organisation.

The next meeting of the club will be on Friday September 17 at 12.30pm at Lochaber Rural Education Centre in Torlundy.

The guest speaker will be Clare Reynolds on the subject of music therapy.

For more information visit the club’s Facebook page – Lochaber Probus Club – or email the secretary David Anderson at david@mirlos.co.uk.
