The A830 road was closed for a short period today (Wednesday) after a road accident involving a car and a motorcycle.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told us: ‘Around 11.20 am on Wednesday, 25 August, 2021, police were called to a two-vehicle road crash on the A830, at the Drumsallie junction involving a motorcyclist and a car.

‘The male motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Belford Hospital in Fort William and there are no reports of any injury to the occupants of the car. The road has since re-opened.’
