Making the most of resources as we come out of Covid
As we see Covid restrictions lift further across the country, it’s even more important that businesses receive the support they need and your local Chamber of Commerce continues to lobby on your behalf.
At Lochaber Chamber of Commerce, we’re in constant contact with ministers, local authority officials and national bodies to lobby for the matters that are impacting the place we live, work, visit and stay.
The impact of on-going positive cases and workforce isolation is being felt over a wide-range of businesses and sectors, notably transport and hospitality. With the national tourism and hospitality sector recruitment campaign #DoWhatYouLove coming to an end on August 15, it’s crucial that continued support and lessons are learned from activities such as this.
This Scottish Government campaign was launched to provide the industry and partners with resources to promote the attractiveness of tourism and hospitality and the job opportunities within it, including a job listing platform. As more businesses return to the workplace and we can meet again, our One Lochaber
Leadership Programme is available for your workforce managers or future leaders to take advantage of. This course is delivered over a 12-month schedule, including group sessions, 1-2-1 development sessions and content shaped to your role we are currently recruiting for our next cohort.
If this is something that you or your business could benefit from please
