Sebastian Woznica, aged 30, formerly of Connel, was fined £375 at Oban Sheriff Court last week.

Woznica, who was not present in court, but represented by a defence agent, had admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at an address in Connel on February 24 this year.

Procurator fiscal James Dunbar said that Woznica had gone to the address uninvited and repeatedly shouted, swore and was aggressive to the occupants. The police were called to attend.

His defence agent, Jane McLaren said Woznica and his partner were both now living and working at a hotel in Argyll and intended to return to Poland once this matter was concluded.

Sheriff Patrick Hughes also ordered that Woznica pay a £20 vicitim surcharge.
