Iona’s oldest resident got a surprise family visit for her 90th birthday including meeting her great great granddaughter for the first time.

Five generations of Norah Kirkpatrick’s family, including grand daughter Amanda Cameron from East Ayrshire and great great granddaughter Ayla, travelled to the island to make the pensioner’s special day.

Norah, whose birthday was on July 14, was also the first on the island to be vaccinated against Covid.
