Abusive Behaviour

About 12.15am on Sunday July 11, in George Street, Oban, a woman was allegedly behaving in an abusive manner towards police officers whilst on patrol. The woman was charged with the offence and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.


About 6.50pm on Sunday June 20, in Croft Avenue, Oban, a man was assaulted by another man. Subsequently a 39-year-old male was charged with assault and issued a Recorded Police Warning.

Breach of the Peace

About 2.40pm on Sunday July 11, in Station Square, Oban, a report was made to police of two males being aggressive. Upon police attending two males were seen to be fighting. Subsequently, a 23-year-old and 21-year-old were charged with Breach of the Peace and issued a Recorded Police Warning.

Report submitted

About 5.30pm on Wednesday June 30 at Lower Gylen Road, Kerrera, a report was made of a male allegedly damaging a property and threatening a man and woman. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.


Between Monday June 28 and Tuesday July 6 at Dungallan Park, Gallanach Road, Oban, unknown persons have damaged property benches, tables and a statue within the area. Enquiries are ongoing.
