MACFADYEN – TUCKER – Alison and Nicholas are delighted to announce the birth of their twins, a son David Stanley and a daughter Dorothy Eilidh at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow on Sunday, June 20, 2021 (Father’s Day). A wee brother and sister for Peter and second and third grandchildren for Neil and Carole MacFadyen, Connel and the late Stuart and Melanie Tucker, Southwold, Suffolk. They would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the QEUH for their excellent care.

BELL – Archibald Charles. Suddenly in Forth Valley Royal Hospital on July 5, 2021, Charlie, aged 81 years of Braehead, Stirling (previously of Cairndow, Argyll). Husband of Betty (Eliz) Gray, brother of Christeen, Fiona and the late Iain. Beloved father of Grant, Carolynn and Alison. Brother-in-law of Sheila. Father-in-law of Richard. Proud Grandpa of four. DICKSON – On July 9, 2021, peacefully at Ardfenaig Care Home, Agnes (Nan) Dickson, in her 89th year, beloved daughter of the late George and Barbara Dickson, much loved sister of William, George, Duncan and the late Adam, dear aunt of Eileen, Stephen, Andrew, Alison and Karlina and a great aunt of all the family. A private funeral service will take place at Carrick Cemetery on Friday, July 16, for those wishing to pay their respects, the cortege will leave from Nan’s home, 4 Oakfield Tarbert at 11.15am, continue to her favourite spot at the concrete and then back through Harbour Street on route the cemetery.
DRUMMOND – Peacefully at home after a short illness, on Saturday, July 10, 2021, aged 72 years, Marilyn, much loved partner of Dave and a dear sister to Sheila and Ian. Funeral arrangements to be confirmed.
MACDOUGALL – Sheena (Kinlochleven). The family of the late Sheena Macdougall would like to thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers on our sad loss. For their attendance at Kinlochmore Cemetery on July 7 and to everyone who lined the route from Kinlochleven. We would like to gratefully thank Dr. Brown and all the staff at Kinlochleven Surgery for being so kind and attentive to her. Special thanks to the nurses who cared for Sheena and brought a smile in to her on their visits, and also the care workers for their kindness shown to her in her last weeks. Thank you to Capt. Janet MacIntyre of the Salvation Army for the lovely service performed at the graveside, and a special thank you to Manson and MacBeath for their smooth running from start to finish and for being attentive all along the way. They made a hard time easier, thank you.
