Urras an Eilein (Skye Gaelic Trust) is offering a prize of £500 for Skye’s Young Gaelic Person of the Year.

This prize will be awarded to any person under the age of 30 living and/or working on Skye, or with a close connection to the island who, in the opinion of the trustees, has made a significant contribution to the use and/or promotion of the Gaelic language.

This may be in the sphere of business, commerce, music, the arts, drama, education, the media etc.
