Bin stickers could be used to highlight the 20mph speed limit guidance in Fort William.

Patricia Jordan, secretary of Fort William, Inverlochy and Torlundy Community Council, is to contact Highland Council’s Lochaber ward manager Dot Ferguson to discuss the idea.

Councillor Jordan, speaking at the community’s council’s June meeting on Tuesday evening last week, said the possibility of such a scheme had been put forward by police officer Brian Heriot.
