Blythswood Care was delighted to challenge some of their supporters to conquer Ben Nevis on Saturday for a fundraising event.
Sixteen participants, including Kilmallie Free Church minister, Euan Dodds, scaled the peak to raise funds for the charity’s projects. Elma MacKay, Community Fundraising Manager for the Highlands, told us: ‘The participants were such a good group, and managed up and down the Ben in just seven and a half hours.
‘Their fundraising has also gone so well; they have raised over £9,000 for Blythswood. The funds raised will support people affected by poverty, rejection and isolation.
‘Each of the participants has gone above and beyond to help others and we just want to say thank you on behalf of our beneficiaries.’
Blythswood Care is a Christian charity with a mission to transform lives through the impact of education, community action and gospel activities, both here in the UK and abroad to Eastern Europe, India and Africa.
