Fort William Football Club has signed centre back Junior Caulker on a two-year deal from newly-promoted Combined Counties League Premier Division South side Farnham Town.

A delighted Claggan Park manager Ashley Hollyer said: ‘I’m delighted to add Junior to the squad on a two-year contract. He’s shown his commitment to the club and I can’t wait for him to pull on the Fort jersey and show everyone what he’s all about.

‘Junior is a player I feel has a bright future and we are delighted to secure him ahead of the new season.

‘We would like to thank Farnham Town for their co-operation throughout the transfer process.’

It has been reported former Wolves defender George Elokobi took to social media to congratulate the new Fort William signing on joining the Highland League club.

Elokobi, who is thought to have previously coached the young player, spent six years at Wolves until 2014 and is now at Maidstone United.

Elokobi said on Instagram: ‘Big, big congratulations J. Time to keep progressing.’
