HRH Princess Anne visits Iona Abbey on Monday to open its newly refurbished living quarters after a successful £3.75 million fundraiser.

‘The generosity of our supporters around the world means the residential area of the Abbey is now fit for purpose as an accessible, flexible and sustainable place of worship, warmth, community and comfort,’ said Dr Elliot Ross on behalf of The Iona Community

The reopening celebration will feature on a special episode of BBC Songs of Praise.

Thousands of people globally will also be able to join the Reopening celebrations via Zoom.
