DEATHS
KILPATRICK – David Robert on May 25, 2021, peacefully at home in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Vanessa, father of Lisa, Victoria, Tania and Hector and grandfather of eight. So sadly missed. Heartfelt thanks to Easdale Medical Practice and to the Community Care team.

MICHIE – Passed away at Raigmore Hospital on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Kenneth Michie, 46 Abertarff Place, Fort Augustus, aged 75 years, former senior nurse. Beloved husband of Sandie, dearly loved father, brother, uncle and grandfather. Missed by all the family and his many friends from Lanarkshire, Ballachulish, Shetland, Fort Augustus and elsewhere. Funeral service on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 3.00pm in the funeral home of William T Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness. No flowers. WARD – Norrie, of 6 Lora View North, Connel, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in his 81st year. Loving husband of Jennifer, dear dad of Iona and grandad of Jack and Harry.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
CARMICHAEL – The family of the late Dugald Carmichael, would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours, for the many kind expressions of sympathy through flowers, phone calls, home baking, messages of support and the many cards received, following the recent sad loss of Dugie. Thank you to Rev. Beaton, for a moving service at the church and graveside. Special thanks to Ian of D&A Munn, for care, compassion and professionalism. Also, thank you to the hospital staff and all carers, Petals for beautiful floral arrangements, Colin, Joan and staff at The Olive Garden, for a lovely meal and all who donated to funds for Oban Free High Church, in lieu of flowers. God bless you all.

CRAWFORD – Ile`s family would like to thank all who attended the funeral and stood by the roadside to pay their respects. Thank you also to those who were not able to attend but who expressed their thoughts and prayers for us. We would also like to thank Stan Lupton, Funeral Director for his guidance and support and all who helped to make the service as Mum had wished. We have received so many expressions of love and kindness which has provided invaluable support for us all. Special thanks to Ward A at Lorn and Islands Hospital and local District Nurses who provided such kind and compassionate care. It was special to us that Mum was able to be at home for her last few weeks. All will be well.

ROSS – Lesley and family would like to say thank you to relatives, friends and neighbours for the many cards, phone calls and lovely flowers received after the sudden death of Tommy. We would like to thank all those who stood by the roadside and who attended at the cemetery. Our heartfelt thanks to Duncan Gunn of Appin for his professional service and to Tom Telfor for his kind words at the graveside. An emotional thank you to Dave Chrystal for his many words and stories about Tommy, an Appin boy who will be very sorely missed.
