Friends of Oban Hospice’s first attempt at an online cooking demo to raise funds has served up a great success.

Dove Centre co-ordinator Peter Darling said: ‘One of the great positives, among the negatives, over the past year is how used we are all getting to using different platforms to communicate with each other. A lot of which are here to stay as we nudge forward to normality.

‘The cooking demo was a great success and congratulations to Hazel Evans whose lucky ticket won a lunch for two at the Olive Garden.

‘Special thanks go to Colin and Scott Felgate for demonstrating their culinary skills. Thank you also to Stacey Felgate who produced and directed as well as expertly filming and editing the excellent video.

‘Hazel hasn’t finally decided who she will take for lunch! She said, it’s between her husband or her friend and if they can’t make it she will take son, David.

‘Thank you again to all those who support the event. All money raised by Friends of Oban Hospice, stays local, support the ongoing running of the Oban Hospice Dove Centre and Community Services.’
