Oban High School’s inaugural girls Bulls v Sharks series continued last week and this time the focus moved to the football field.

Young ladies attending the Oban High School of Football have worked tirelessly at after school sessions and as a result of their dedication to training and consistently high attendance were able to contest a first Bulls and Sharks match.

The game was very close throughout with two early goals. It remained one each until the last minute of the match when the Sharks scored a dramatic late winner to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

David Buchanan from Oban Saints was on hand to present the trophy to the Sharks and was very impressed at the effort of everyone on the pitch and the quality on show.
