Oban Ladies Squash Team bid a fond farewell to one of their founding members recently but despite her move to the east coast, Charmaine Love will continue her involvement with the club.

Having helped to form, train and build the team, Charmaine received a token of appreciation for all her hard work.

Colin MacNiven presented her with a framed photograph, taken by The Oban Times, of the team to take on her move with husband David to be closer to family.

She will, however, continue to be involved in the organisation and running of the Oban ladies team, travelling to competitions and events and playing as much as possible.

The team sends Charmaine their best wishes for the future and hope to see her back in Oban soon.

Oban Ladies Squash Team will be back to its full training schedule shortly and are looking forward to getting back on to the competitive circuit as they have a range of sponsors to be announced.
