Cameron Square will be coming alive this weekend, Friday to Sunday, as the 17th edition of the Fort William Mountain Festival 2021 takes place right in the beating heart of the town.
Included in a new programme for this year’s event Highland Cinema will be screening six great energetic and inspiring outdoor adventure film shorts selected by the Mountain Festival team plus three big headline movies each evening.
In addition there will be a Spring Festival Market Place in the Square and entertainment up and down the High Street.
Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May will be the time for celebrating and supporting local producers at the relaxed outdoor market event which is being run in partnership with Lochaber Chamber of Commerce.
From charcuterie to candles to fresh baked treats and fresh veg and greens, be sure to head along to the High Street where local shops, restaurants and cafes will be excited to see you too.
The team from Calvos will once again be joining the Festival, but this time with their daytime performances of contact juggling and stilt walking taking place in the Square on Saturday between 11am and 3pm.
A one-way system will be in operation on both days with Covid protocols in place.
