Robert (Bob) MacIntyre trails the leader by just one shot going into today’s final round of the British Masters at The Belfry.

Pre tournament favourite and top-ranked player in the field, the 24-year-old from Oban went into yesterday’s round with an overnight lead but a bogey on the 10th saw him drop into the chasing pack at nine under.

He is one of six players sitting on the coat tails of England’s Eddie Pepperell who’s birdie on the 18th yesterday pushed him to the front of a congested leaderboard, with 26 players separated by five shots.

Bob will tee off at 12:17 today along with Austrian Matthias Schwab.
