To honour Scotland’s National Bard, Ballachulish Community Resilience Group organised a virtual Burns tribute recently, starting in Ballachulish quarry.

The narrator, Bill Strachan, gave a very powerful tribute to the virtual haggis
and followed it by a delightful ‘To a Mouse’.

The event culminated with the beautiful vocals of Aileen Hornby set against a stunning snowy backdrop singing ‘Ae Fond Kiss’.

The community would like to extend their thanks to Bill Strachan (narrator), Aileen Hornby (vocals), Karl Griffin (Quarry filming), Peter Duggan (low whistle), Chaz Stewart (acoustic guitar) and Paul Hornby Battrick on keyboards and production.
