Oban High School’s after school shinty club marked the end of its term’s training sessions with an inter-school Bulls v Sharks match with around 20 players taking part.

This brought an end to what has been a successful series of after school sessions delivered by club coaches Les Kinvig and Stephen Campbell who have been working hard to provide pupils with extra curricular shinty while meeting all of the high school and Camanachd Association’s Covid 19 regulations.

The game itself was a high scoring affair with the Bulls running out 8-7 winners.

Both teams were supported by Oban High School Shinty Ambassadors William MacEwan and Pearce MacBeth, who will be working in partnership with the Camanachd Association, Oban High School School of Shinty and Active Schools to promote shinty activities within the school for the remainder of the school year.
