Breach of bail
At about 10pm on Monday December 7, at Catalina Avenue, Oban, a 28-year-old woman allegedly breached bail conditions imposed by the court by being outwith her address overnight. Police arrested and charged the woman who was held for court and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
At 3pm on Tuesday December 8 at Tesco stores, Lochside Street, Oban, about £2,000 worth of cosmetics were stolen from a display. Police are investigating the incident.
About midday on Friday December 11, at the A85 near Dalmally, a motorist was stopped for allegedly exceeding the speed limit. The male driver, aged 22, was charged and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 6.45pm on Friday December 11, near to Connel Bridge, Connel, a collision occurred between a black Volvo and a grey Toyota, subsequently a 68-year-old man was charged with alleged careless driving. No one was injured as a result of the collision and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Stopped by police
About 11.30am on Friday December 11, at the A85, Arivain, a lorry was allegedly driven in a careless manner, exceeding the speed limit while overtaking three vehicles. Subsequently the male driver, 55, was stopped by police, cautioned and charged. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Between approximately 4pm on Friday December 4 and 3pm on Tuesday December 8 at Miller Road, Oban, an Amazon parcel was stolen from outside a property. Police are investigating.
Threatening behaviour allegation
At approximately 2.30am on Saturday December 13 at Taynuilt, a 31-year-old woman allegedly behaved in a threatening manner, assaulted a man and damaged property. Police were called and the woman was subsequently arrested, charged and held to appear at court. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Damage to vehicle
Between about 7am and 3.30pm on Wednesday December 9 at Scarinish Pier, Isle of Tiree, damage was caused to the front bumper a Black Mitsubishi vehicle and keys were stolen. Police are investigating.
Between 4pm on Tuesday December 8 and 7.45am on Wednesday December 9 on the B8065 near to the Co-operative Shop, Scarinish, Isle of Tiree, a sheep was killed by a vehicle which failed to stop and report the accident. Police are investigating.
