Prime bullocks (2) averaged 210.8p (+0.5p) and sold to 216.0p per kg and £1,339.00 gross.

Prime heifers (10) averaged 212.5p (+4.9p) and sold to 222.0p per kg and £1,358.90 gross.

Prime bullocks (2) averaged 210.8p (+0.5p) and sold to 216.0p per kg for a 600kg Charolais cross and £1,339.00 gross for a 650kg Limousin cross both from Bridgend Farm, Dingwall both selling to Messrs John M Munro Ltd, Dingwall.

Prime heifers (10) averaged 212.5p (+4.9p) and sold to 222.0p per kg for a 575kg Limousin cross and £1,358.90 gross for a 635kg Aberdeen Angus cross both from Bridgend Farm.

Stirling- United Auctions (Wednesday 18th November 2020) sold 55 rearing cattle. The sale was topped at £520 for two AAX bulls from Clayland Farmers.

Caledonian Marts Ltd, Wednesday November 18: sold 755 Store Lambs and Feeding Ewes at their last sale before the Martinmas Sale on Monday 7th December.

All classes of lambs met a similar trade to previous weeks sales, selling to a top of £79 twice from D Ashbridge, Leskine, Killin for Texel X and S & I Ross, Doune of Glendouglass for Mules.

Caledonian Marts Ltd, Tuesday November 17: sold 2069 Prime Lambs, Ewes & Tups at their weekly sale.

With many weathered lambs forward, they were harder to cash than the fleshier types at 40kg +.

The SQQ lambs averaged 206p per kg for 910 (+8p on the week) or (+25p on the year).
The overall average for the 1552 lambs sold was 203p per kg (+10p on the week or (+25p on the year).

Top price per kg was 236p for a Texel from D A Baird, Ninewells, Newburgh for a 42kg (£99).

Top price of the day went to Doune Farms, West Lundie, Argaty at £116 for a 62kg Beltex.Leading Prices:-
