Ardnamurchan High School pupil Bethan White has been awarded the annual Lochaber Housing Award for academic achievement.

Bethan gained five awards at A (four at Higher and one Advanced Higher) in S5. This is in addition to achieving six awards at A in S4 (two at Higher level and four at National 5).

Bethan is now studying at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design.

‘Bethan has been an exceptionally dedicated and hardworking student and this award is well deserved in recognition of her excellent academic achievements. We wish her well in her studies in Dundee,’ said head teacher Christopher Millar-Craig.
