About 4pm on August 3, at Buchanan Terrace, Oban, a man, 39, allegedly assaulted a woman. He was arrested and charged and a report sent to the procurator fiscal.

About 1.55am on August 6, near Corran Esplanade, Oban, a car was stopped and male driver, 38, was arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was charged and a report sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

About 11pm on August 8, at the Railway Pier, Oban, a 22-year-old man allegedly assaulted a man and a woman. He was arrested and charged and a report sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

About 10.40pm on August 8 at Albany Street, Oban, a man, 39, allegedly behaved in a threatening manner. He was arrested, charged and a report sent to the Fiscal.

Between 12.30pm on August 6 and 8.30am on August 8, at Glencruitten Golf Course, Oban, a battery to a Golf Buggy was stolen.

 

About 7.15pm on August 7, in High Street, Bowmore, Islay, a 45-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman. He was charged, held for court and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

About 5pm on August 6 at Glencruitten Road, Oban, a man, 46, made threats by telephone. He was later traced by police and issued with a recorded Police warning.

Between May 1 and June 13, at Rockfield Road, Tobermory, a man, 30, allegedly breached bail conditions by contacting a woman. Police arrested and charged the man and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Between 10am and 4pm on August 4, within the communal area of a property on Soroba Road, Oban, a White Mountain bike was stolen.
