The Tobermory “Open” golf tournament last weekend, August 1 and 2, had an unfamiliar feel to it in these strange times.
Entry was restricted to golfers from the area, still there were no less than 28 starters, and the prize fund of just under £500 was as keenly contested as ever.
The final threeball on Sunday saw a battle between Paul and Lewis Brown and William MacCrone, with Paul holding form to win MacBrayne Cup by six strokes.
The MacAllister Trophy for handicap was won by club captain Donald MacLean from Ross Kirsop and Alan Davidson.
The club wishes to thank Donald and all the local businesses for their support through this period and looks forward to welcoming all its friends and supporters back in the years to come.
