Paul and Mary MacColl were married in Glasgow on July 28, 1960.

Dunblane couple Paul and Mary MacColl celebrated 60 years of marriage on Tuesday, July 28.

Paul, originally living in Ballachulish, and Mary (nee Campbell) from Barra, were married in Glasgow on 28 July 1960. They have four children: John, Anne, Angus and Sheena, and 10 grandchildren.

Paul and Mary moved to Dunblane in 1968, and were both schoolteachers. Mary is a traditional Gaelic singer and sang with the Stirling Gaelic Choir. She and Paul have been regulars for many years at the annual Royal National Mod.
