Staff at Inverlochy Primary School arranged a special drive-by last Wednesday, July 1, in order to wish their pupils a happy summer holiday and bid a fond farewell to primary seven leavers.

Families, holding banners and signs, lined the streets as the cavalcade wound its way around the parks and along Claggan and Camanachd Cresent for the pre-summer wave.

The school described the event as ‘a special and very emotional summer send-off’, on its Facebook page, adding, ‘It was certainly a moment in time that we won’t forget and as always, we are just so grateful for the wonderful pupils and families surrounding us.

‘Huge heartfelt thank you to you all for coming along.’
