HILL – The family of the late Archie Hill would like to thank everyone for their kind messages, cards and flowers. Also Mr Cameron for his nice service at the graveside. GILLIES – Margaret. The family of the late Margaret Gillies offer their heartfelt thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours who showed respect, during her final journey from Inverlochy Village to Kilmallie Cemetery, on Friday, May 23, and to those that couldn’t be present because of current restrictions, but conveyed sympathy from afar. Our thanks to the Rev Richard Baxter and John McLellan, Funeral Directors, for their compassion and care on the day. Margaret lived her 96 years to the full, with her great loves, in no particular order being her family, Rangers FC, her bingo, her dram, and her church. I’m glad to say that each of these interests was represented at her send off, and as a family, we are eternally grateful.
