Strong winds are expected across Oban today with a yellow weather warning in place for parts of Argyll and Bute.
The Met Office has said wind speeds across the region will pick up and continue through the night and most of Saturday with heavy rain.
Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 50mph, the Met Office said.
Yellow warnings mean people should plan and consider possible travel delays, or disruption and being aware that the weather may change or worsen, according to the Met Office.
