DEATHS
CLARK – Suddenly but peacefully at home, Steven Arthur, age 43 years. Much loved son of Arthur and Wilma and brother of Shona. Steven will leave a huge gap in the lives of our family and his many friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
COKE – Andrew. Beloved husband to Jean, devoted father to Catriona and Gillian, father-in-law to Lorne and Terry, papa to Morvern and Rory, died peacefully on April 20, 2020 in Belford Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral was held on April 23 in private due to current Government restrictions. Thanks to all who paid their respects as the cortege passed through the village, this was very much appreciated by the family. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
GARABET – Suddenly at Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban on Saturday April 25, 2020, in his 82nd year, Dr Ghazi George Garabet, former Consultant Geriatrician at Dalintart Hospital and Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban. He leaves behind his grieving wife of almost 50 years, Marilyn and their loving son Paul. A private funeral will take place in line with the current guidelines. A requiem mass will be celebrated as soon as circumstances allow, to which all colleagues, friends and neighbours will be invited.
MACRAE – Peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2020, in the loving care of the devoted staff of Memory Lane, Highview House, Inverness, Marion Anne MacRae in her 93rd year.
Formerly of Spean Bridge and Knoydart. Beloved wife of the late George. Adored mother, mother-in-law, granny and great-granny, much loved sister, sister-in-law, auntie, great-auntie and a friend to many. Sorely missed and forever loved by her family. Due to current restrictions, funeral private. Arrangements by Manson and MacBeath, Fort William.
MACDIARMID – Donald Macdiarmid, aged 69 years, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2020 at his home in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada after a short illness. Formerly of 66 Newvalley, Isle of Lewis and Glasgow, beloved son of the late Peigi and Calum Macdiarmid (Lewis and Mull), devoted partner of Laura, doting father of Aileen, father-in-law of Nolan, brother of Anne, brother-in-law of Euan, uncle, cousin and great friend. Sadly missed.
MCNEILL – Mollie McNeill, Torr-Na-Faire, Lochaline, passed away on April 16, 2020, aged 84, after a long illness. Wife of the late Ian McNeill and much loved mum, gran, auntie and friend. The funeral was held in private at Kiel Cemetery, Lochaline.
NEAL – On Saturday, April 18, 2020, in her 73rd year, Gwyneth, beloved wife of the late Tony Neal, much loved mum of Dave and Robert and loving grandmother to Kieran and Olivia. A celebration of Gwyneth’s life will be held as soon as it is safe to do so.

MACCOLL – Mary and the family of the late Allan would like to thank sincerely, all relatives, friends and neighbours for the beautiful flowers, cards, letters, messages, phone calls and home baking received at this sad time.
