The fine weather of late will continue today and throughout the coming week, according to the Met Office.
The temperature today is expected to reach a high of around 15-16C, or 60F in Oban by 4pm, according to the official forecast.
Winds are expected to remain moderate at between 11-12mph.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday to Friday locally is forecast lots of sunshine.
Temperatures are expected to reach 17C by Wednesday and Thursday.
It is expected to cool slightly on Friday but with sunny intervals continuing over next weekend with a gentle breeze
On Friday, Tiree lived up to its name as the sunshine island.
It recorded 12.9 hours making it the sunniest place across the vast Strathclyde region, as recorded by the Met Office.
Stornoway on Lewis recorded 13.6 hours of sunshine – the most in the UK.
