DEATHS
CAMERON – Dugald (Dougie), aged 73 years of 5 Lochandhu, Taynuilt. Passed away peacefully at the Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban on February 27, 2020. Husband of the late Sheena Ann Macintyre, Father of Mark, Lynn, Ruth and the late John. Brother of Andrew and the late Archie. Funeral service to be held at Muckairn Parish Church, Taynuilt on Monday March 9 at 1pm. Family flowers only.
CAMERON – Peacefully at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital; London, William Hugh MacPherson aged 60 years. Funeral service will take place from St. Brides Parish Church, Onich, Fort William, Scotland on Friday March 6 at 2.30pm followed by Interment at Innis Na Birlinn Cemetery. CORRIGAN – Anne (formerly Pilkington and née Sammon). Suddenly on Friday, February 21, 2020 after a short illness bravely borne. Anne (lately of Helensburgh and Minard), a much loved Mum. Funeral service to which all family and friends are respectfully invited to be held at Woodside Crematorium (top chapel) on Friday, March 6 at 3pm. Family flowers only.
MACINTYRE – Christine Thomson (neé Torry) Macintyre MA. Peacefully, in the care of Earlsferry House, Elie, on February 18, 2020, aged 96. Respected school teacher. Beloved wife of the late Rev Dr William John Macintyre (Crail), loving mother of Christine and John, mother-in-law of the late David and of Kitty, grandmother of Kelly Anne, Marsaili, Samantha and Iseabail, and great grandmother of Kieran, Faith, Ellie and Harmony.
MACKAY- Margaret, aged 84 years of 23 Lynn Court, Oban. Passed away suddenly but peacefully on February 27, 2020 at Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban. Beloved mother of Mary and the late Alex and Ian and special mother-in-law to Aulay. Much loved Nana to Jamie, Scott, Paul, Marie-Claire and Louise. Great-grandmother to Calum, Ian, Oran and Olivia. May she Rest In Peace.
ROBERTSON – Peacefully at Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban after a short illness, with his family at his side, on March 2, 2020, aged 81 years, Thomas (Tommy), beloved husband of the late Irene, dad of Brian and Carol, seanair to Caitlin, Lauren, Elise, Josie and Ben and brother of Ian and the late Anne. Tommy spent many happy years as chief engineer with CalMac.

MACDONALD – The family of the late Mary MacDonald would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them following their recent sad loss. MACLEAN – The family of the late Allan and James would sincerely like to thank family and friends for the many kind expressions of sympathy expressed to them at this sad time. Grateful thanks to all doctors and nurses at the Beatson and Mull and Iona Community Hospitals for their care and attention to Allan through his long illness. Also grateful thanks to the emergency services who attended to James. Special thanks to Rev Liz Gibson for a comforting service, Calum MacDougall for piping at the graveside, William McClymont funeral director for his personal and professional funeral arrangements and the Craignure Inn for the refreshments. Thanks to all who came and paid their respects at the graveside and who all generously donated £450 for the Beatson and Mull and Iona Hospitals.
