Organisers say the 37th Highlands and Islands Music and Dance Festival in Oban is going to be the biggest yet with new venues, more than 1,100 participants and 125 competition classes, plus lots of fringe events.

The dates for 2020 are Thursday April 30 to Sunday May 3.

Letters are being sent out to businesses asking them to sponsor  its competitions and the festival committee is hoping for a generous response.

Raffle tickets are also now on sale, including cash prizes, to help raise funds.
