SHAIRP – Sandy and Pam, Isle of Luing, married on February 20, 1960 in Framwellgate Moor, Durham. Congratulations on 60 wonderful years, celebrating with them will be their three children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
CAMERON – After a short illness, with her family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, on February 11, 2020, Catherine Brown Cameron, (née MacGeachy), of Embo, 5 Castle Park, Kilmartin, and formerly of Barbreck, Campbeltown, dearly loved wife of the late Colin Cameron, much loved mother of Shona and Sheena, much respected mother-in-law of Gordon and Russell, adored granny of Cameron, Sinclair, Craig, Julie and Rosie, and great granny of Katie and Jessica. Funeral service will be held in Glassary, Kilmartin and Ford Parish Church, Kilmartin, on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Kilkerran Cemetery, Campbeltown at 2.15pm. Donations to Marie Curie (Mid Argyll).
COWAN – Suddenly and peacefully with family present, after a short illness, on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban, aged 81, Annie MacGilp Cameron, Dalmally, devoted wife of the late Ian Cowan, adored mother of John and Mary-Ann, mother-in-law of Celine and Thomas, Nana to Ewan, Kelly, Jane, Sarah, Ian and Padraig and Great Granny of Matthew and Mia. May you now rest in peace.  Funeral service will take place at Glenorchy Church, Dalmally, on Monday, February 24 at 1 p.m. Family flowers only.

LAWRIE – (Lairg). Peacefully in The Cambusavie Unit, Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie on Sunday, February 16, 2020 aged 75 years, Argyle “Gyle” Lawrie, Savalbeg Farmhouse, Saval, Lairg, beloved husband of the late Connie, dearly loved twin brother of Catherine and brother of Marylene, a much loved brother-in-law, dear uncle, grand uncle and loved by all the extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held in Fearn Abbey on Saturday, February 22 at 11 am. Thereafter to Balintore Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Flowers may be sent to the funeral or donations if so desired may be given at the service for The Cambusavie Unit, Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie or sent to Alasdair Rhind Funeral Director, Sutherland House, Bank Street, Tain.

MACDONALD – Peacefully at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on February 11, 2020, Mary MacLean MacDonald (née Mactaggart), aged 74 years, Blackwell Road, Culloden, beloved sister of Sarah, Lucy and the late Jessie and Hughina, also much loved auntie and good friend to many. Funeral service on Monday, February 24, at 12.30 pm in the Barn Church, Culloden; thereafter to Kilvean Cemetery. All welcome to attend. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research UK may be given at the service. Arrangements by D. Chisholm & Sons.
MACLEAN – James Cameron, aged 41 years, died suddenly at home 25 Java Houses, Craignure on January 7, 2020. Loving father of Ella and son of the late Margaret (Maggie) and Dugald Allan, aged 68 years who died peacefully in the Mull and Iona Community Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne on February 13, 2020. Sadly missed by all the family. The interment will take place at Kilpatrick Cemetery, Duart on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 11.30am. Family flowers only.
MACLELLAN – Suddenly, at his home in Glasgow on February 12, 2020, Michael, beloved son of Fiona and the late Duncan MacGillivray. A dear father to Paige and Archie, stepson to David, brother to Kayleigh and partner of Erin. A good friend to many and will be sorely missed. Funeral arrangements to follow.
MACQUARRIE – Neil. On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, peacefully, Neil, aged 92 years of Camborne. Beloved husband of Enid. Sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral service at Treswithian Downs Crematorium on Monday, February 24 at 10 am followed by private family interment at Killivose Cemetery. URQUHART – Ewan and Ailie are sad to announce the passing of their father Ronald John Urquhart on Sunday February 16, 2020 aged 82 years.

BINNIE – Gordon, Lorne and their families wish to thank everyone from near and far who came to pay their respects to Isobel. Special thanks to Catriona and everyone at Hamish Hoey for their caring and professional service and to the Rev Dugald Cameron for a thoughtful and comforting service. Thanks also to Petals for the beautiful flowers and to the Royal Hotel for their excellent catering. The sum of £400 was collected for the Dove Centre, Oban.
BRYANS – Jean, Fiona and all the family of the late William (Bill) thank most sincerely all relatives, friends and neighbours for all the cards, flowers and messages of sympathy. Special thanks to Fr David Connor and Fr Donald MacKinnon for a lovely service. Sincere thanks to CAU Belford Hospital and Ward 5A Raigmore Hospital for their excellent care of Bill. Lastly thanks to Manson and MacBeath for efficient funeral arrangements, Meg and staff at Railway Club for refreshments and all who paid their respects at church and graveside. The generous donations of £600 raised at the church will be split between CAU Belford and Ward 5A Raigmore.
DAVIDSON – The family of the late Roberta Davidson would like to thank relatives, friends and colleagues for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to them following their recent sad loss. Thanks to Burnfield Medical Practice, community and out of hours nurses for their care and attention and special thanks to all staff at Aden House Care Home for the care given to Roberta while in their care. Thanks to Rev Andrew Baxter for his comforting service, John McLellan Funeral Directors, McDonald Florists and staff at Caol Community Centre for their catering. Finally, everyone who came to pay their respects and those who contributed so generously to Aden House Residents Fund, raising a total of £550.
LIVINGSTONE – Gregor, Stuart and family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards, flowers, telephone calls and support after the recent loss of our mum Mary MacGregor Livingstone. Special thanks to Karen MacLennan of Karen’s Care and all at Carer’s Direct for their fantastic help and support over the last couple of years, the district nurses and doctors at Taynuilt Medical Practice, Community Care Team and all others involved in Mary’s care and wellbeing. Thanks also to Ian of D & A Munn for his personal and professional arrangements, the Rev Tom Telfer and Rev Margaret Millar for conducting a memorable and fitting service and to the Taynuilt Hotel for providing excellent food and refreshments. May we also thank everyone who attended the church and graveside. The generous donations which amounted to £ 1020.00 was collected for Alzheimer Scotland.
MACDOUGALL – Morag and the family of the late Donnie MacDougall would like to thank friends and family for all their support and kind messages following their recent loss. Thanks to Rev Margaret Miller for conducting a very comforting service, Alasdair MacDonald for the beautiful music in the church, Ian MacInnes from D&A Munn for his compassionate support in the funeral arrangements and all at the Dalmally Community Centre for the exceptional catering and hospitality afterwards. Our sincere thanks to all those that attended the funeral service and donated generously to the retiral collection which raised £1,530 for Argyll Beats Cardiovascular Disease (ABCD).
MACFARLANE – The family of the late Mairi would like to sincerely thank all family and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy and support received in the sad passing of Mairi. We would like to thank Rev Margaret Miller for her memorable and uplifting service, Ian MacInnes, D & A Munn Ltd for his kind, caring and professional service throughout. Donald MacDougall for the piping, Angela at the Flowerhouse for her beautiful flowers and The Tigh an Truish for providing the refreshments. Finally a huge thank you to all who attended the service and graveside and generously donated £608.30 for the RNLI.
SILVER – Jack. Betty and family would like to thank most sincerely, all friends and family for their cards and kind words at the sad loss of Jack. Thanks to Tweeddale Surgery for Jack’s care and also to Rev Morag Muirhead for her comforting service at the church and to Alyson Stewart for her lovely words at the crematorium and to the Railway club for their beautiful food. Also, thanks to Manson & MacBeath Funeral Directors for their care and attention to detail.  Special thanks to everyone who attended the services and raised £295.35 for British Heart Foundation.
