Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership is looking for unpaid carers and community council members to join locality planning groups (LPGs).

There are four (LPGs) including Oban, Lorn and the Isles and Mid Argyll, Kintyre and the Islands.

The HSCP is committed to ensuring people in the community are involved in the planning of health and social care services. One way of
achieving this is through LPGs, which bring together NHS and council staff, community members, carers, representatives from the third and independent sectors and community-based groups.

The LPGs are looking for volunteer carers and community council members for each group. Ideally, the individuals would be familiar with the
area, have experience in health and social care services, be able to attend four LPG meetings a year and show enthusiasm for engagement.

The HSCP would like to hear from interested individuals living in Argyll and Bute who either care for someone unpaid or who is a community council member interested in health and social care.

Recruitment to both voluntary positions is open until Friday March 6.
