Fail to stop
About 8am on Wednesday February 12, on the A82 near Bridge of Orchy, a white van, which was travelling south collided with another vehicle causing damage to the wing mirror. Police are investigating.
Threatening behaviour allegation
About 11pm on Friday February 14, at Victoria Crescent, Oban, a man, 24, allegedly acted in a threatening and abusive manner. The man was later traced and charged with the offence. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 11.20pm on FridayFebruary 14, at Victoria Crescent, Oban, a man, 33, was searched, allegedly found in possession of cocaine and charged. Another man, 32, was also charged with allegedly supplying drugs. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 9pm on Saturday February 15, at Station Square, Oban, an eighteen-year-old woman was allegedly in possession of a knife in a public place. She was later traced, arrested and charged and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Between 7.50am and 3.30pm on Sunday February 16, on Lochandhu Road, Taynuilt, a vehicle was vandalised by scratching the paint down the length of the vehicle. Police are investigating.
About 6pm on Tuesday February 11, in Main Street, Tobermory, a thirty-nine-year-old man was arrested for allegedly behaving in an abusive manner and assaulting a woman. The man was charged with the offences, held for court and a report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 2.20am on Sunday February 16, on Main Street, Tobermory, a BMW was vandalised by scratching the paint down the length of the vehicle. Police are investigating.
Between 11am on Tuesday February 4 and 10.20am on Tuesday February 11, a shed at Glenegedale, Islay was broken into and a SGS portable petrol generator was stolen. Police are investigating the incident.
