A woman has been fined £100 for punching a man on the head.

Charlotte Smith of 2F Catalina Avenue Oban, pleaded guilty when she appeared in Oban Sheriff Court on Monday January 13.

The 21-year-old was seen by four police officers punching the man in the face after they were called to a home in Oban. She was then arrested.

Sheriff Patrick Hughes fined her £100 for her ‘unprovoked crime of violence.’
