Stirling – Caledonian Marts Ltd on Thursday January 9 sold 167 cattle comprising of 89 bullocks, heifers and young bulls, 63 OTM cattle and 15 calves.
Prime Heifers reached 245ppkg for a Limousin from W Dandie and Son, Learielaw, Broxburn purchased by D Campbell and Son, Butcher, Callander and to £1520 for a Limousin from D S and RC Taylor, Easter Ochtermuthill, Muthill purchased by H A Black and Sons, Butcher, Stirling.

Dairy cows averaged 89ppkg, selling to 102ppkg from J Ralston and Son, Kilkivan, Campbeltown, and to £780 from Barr Farms, Meldrum, Blairdrummond.
OTM males sold to 122ppkg, or £1340 from A G Simpson, Parbroath, Cupar.
