Nick Dalgety has been named as Glengarry Shinty Club players’ player of the year for 2019 following a special meal in Fort Augustus at the weekend.

The fast and prolific goal scorer was a popular choice with all and was presented with The Johnnie MacDonald Memorial shield by Alan MacDonald, in the absence of Mrs Jean MacDonald who was unable to attend.

Alan, a well known past player himself, is Glengarry’s oldest supporter and never misses a game.
