Calum MacLean was announced as Russell McMorran’s successor as manager of Fort William FC last night (Thursday).
MacLean has a wealth of Highland League experience both as a player and previous manager and the Claggan Park club believes he will bring out the very best in its young, talented squad.
‘We are in the process of building his backroom team which will include the short term appointment of current coach Jamie Macgregor and first team player John Treasurer, who is battling back from a long term injury,’ the club added in an online statement.
‘Further appointments will be announced in due course. We wish Calum and his team all the very best.’
Due to the current condition of Claggan Park and the weather forecast for the next few days, Fort’s game against Formartine United this Saturday has been switched from Claggan Park to Formartine United’s ground at North Lodge Park in Pitmedden. Kick-off at 3pm.
