Glengarry Shinty Club got a nice early Christmas present recently when it received four camans from Martin MacGillvray of Morrison Construction, which has been working on a local project in Invergarry.

Anne Davies, club treasurer, accepted the camans from Mr MacGillvray. The club very much appreciate this sponsorship.

Also Saturday, December 21, saw Glengarry Shinty Club’s annual Christmas hamper raffle draw.

The club wishes to thank MFR radio star Daniel Gilchrist for making the draw at The Bothy, Fort Augustus, and are indebted to Elaine for organising it, also so many local businesses, parents, friends and players who helped make this such a success.

Over £1000 was raised for club funds, which is a very welcome boost.
Prize winners were:  1, Gemma Islerdemir;  2, Anne MacKenzie;  3, Jay Humson; 4, Peter MacKenzie.
